Itinerary
Day 1: Hoi An Arrival
Upon your arrival in Danang, meet at airport and transfer to Hoi An. Your guide will welcomed you at the airport and then transfer you to your hotel for check in.
Your room is at disposal from 14:00 pm. Free at leisure to relax in the rest of the day.
Day 2: Tra Que Village (B/L)
This morning enjoy a rural Hoi An experience with the chance to learn all about the rice cultivation process and the lifestyle of the local farmers.
Start the day with a hotel pick up at 8:30 am.
Begin your journey with a short bicycle ride through rice paddies to the countryside (a vehicle can be arranged for those preferring not to cylce. Arrive at a farm where you will be welcomed with tea by a local family host. You will have the chance to visit their house. Your guide will explain the different steps of rice cultivation. Pull on traditional farming clothes and colonial hats for sun protection. Prepare yourself for a unique experience and try not to fall into the mud. Afterwards, return to the house and learn how to make pancakes that you will be able to enjoy. Additionally, learn how to cook rice in the traditional way. 
Enjoy lunch at your host's before riding back to the hotel.
Day 3: My Son Sanctuary (B)
Today you will visit My Son, located 69km southwest of Danang, was an imperial city during the Cham dynasties, between the 4th and 12th centuries. My Son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with complicated red brick designs. The main component of the Charm architectual design is the tower, built to reflect the divinity of the king.
Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years.
Free time in the afternoon to explore the ancient town centre, you may visit former merchants's houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese Commnual hall and the colorful market.
Day 4: Hoi An Street Food Tour (B/D)
Evening walking foodie tour is a perfect combination of discovering Hoi An cuisine and culture. Our tour starts around sunset and will walk you through local cafes, food stalls, markets and restaurants, giving you a filling food adventure for the memory books.
We start to go to local areas and wander around the food stalls to discover Hoi An traditional dishes, including:
  • Banh Mi: You will have a chance to taste the signature Vietnamese sandwich hand-made by royalty, the Banh Mi Queen.
  • Cao Lau: Perharps the difference between Cao Lau and other noodle dishes is the texture. Cao Lau noodles are firmer and chewier - very similar to Japanese Udon than those food in typical Vietnamese noodle dishes such as Pho. The best for finding authentic Cao Lau in Hoi An is to eat from street vendors who only serve Cao Lau or a small handful of local dishes.
  • Banh Beo: We go through small alleys and stop at local business house and see how real Vietnamese life looks like. Here, you will discover a Vietnamese traditional cake: Banh Beo - a popular snack of Hoi An people.
  • Banh Khot: Banh Khot is one of popular Vietnamese street food, a round pancake made with rice flour, tumeric, coconut milk, quail egg and vegetables at a famous street vendor near Hoai Square.
  • Local coffee: Enjoy a cup of authentic Vietnamese coffee, famous for its mix of strong drip coffee and sweet condensed milk, that 's sure to re-energize you for the rest of the day before finishing your journey to make it more memorable.
