Day 1 Siem Reap (/)
Pick up at Siem Reap International airport (please enquire if you need flight arrangements) and transfer to your hotel. Set off for a late afternoon visit to a spectacular view of sunset from the top of Bakkheng Hill. Evening is yours to sample the nightlife or relax.
Day 2 Siem Reap (B/L)
5am optional visit to see sunrise at Angkor Wat, otherwise after a leisurely breakfast at your hotel visit Banteay Srei temple built around the 10th Century and regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. Continue to visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, The Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Lokiteshvara, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at Local restaurant
Afternoon visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat, the temple complex covers 81hectares and distinct of five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks and Jungle temple Ta Prohm a place discovered and retained much of its mystery. Ta Prohm is where the famous movie of Tomb Raider took the spot before returning to your hotel.
Day 3 Siem Reap - Battambang (B/L)
Start the day with one of the most beautiful boat trips in South East Asia. Leaving from Siem Reap along the Sangker River, you will travel down the river passing through protected wetlands, narrow waterways and floating villages. Arrive in Battambang and spend the evening exploring the town.
Day 4 Battambang - Phnom Penh (B)
7am departure to Phnom Penh, spend the afternoon seeing the Royal Palace, National Museum and Silver Pagoda.
Day 5 Phnom Penh (B/L)
Spend the day seeing the sites of the city. Visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum formerly used as a prison during the Khmer Rouge reign and known as S-21, followed by the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and Wat Phnom. In the afternoon explore the Central and Russian markets. The evening is free for you to check out the nightlife in the capital.
Day 6 - Phnom Penh - Tonle Bati - Takeo - Kep (B/L)
Depart from Phnom Penh for Kep. En route, stop at Tonle Bati and visit Ta Prohm temple (12th-13th centuries) and Yeay Peau temple (12th century). Visit the Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin (10th century) and visit a silk weaving village before proceeding to Takeo. Lunch at local restaurant before continuing on to Kep.
Day 7 Kep – Kampot - Sihanoukville (B)
Breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a half-day boat trip to Rabbit Island (Koh Tunsay) and discover the beautiful and pristine scenery. In the afternoon drive to Kampot and enjoy a tour of this quiet town with stunning architecture, before continuing to along the coast and the Damrei (Elephant) Mountains to Kompong Som (Sihanoukville), on arrival in Sihanoukville check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure at this beach resort.
Day 8 Sihanoukville (B)
Free Day at your own leisure.
Day 9 Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh (B)
Transfer to Phnom Penh or extend your trip on your own accord in Sihanoukville.
